I had to have my car towed twice today, due to a flat tire. Oddly enough, the first time I’ve had a flat tire in my long life. Second tow, the ENORMOUS tow truck driver had a heavy accent that I couldn’t place. Been here just a year, from India. He DROVE his massive, very fancy tow truck as if he was STILL in India! Holy Moly. We gradually worked into conversation, I had questions. Finally, got to immigration & Trump. The terrorizing of people by ICE. He’s Team Kamala but he knows immigrants who voted for Trump. They regret it, now. Foolish guys, sorry now. SHOULD HAVE KNOWN TRUMP IS TROUBLE. At the end, we warmly shook hands. “Welcome to America,” I said. “I AM GLAD THAT YOU CAME HERE.” The huge smile on his face kinda made it worth it to deal with the car hassles in the morning & again in the evening. Definitely worth it. 💙🇺🇸💙
