Advisory 7A: Recent observations indicating that Austen is still a powerful low. The system has still producing significant gusts and strong gusts are being reported across the areas of greatest concern, the low will weaken steadily however winds will take time to come down. However the low is occluded and the system is filling in it's centre with precipitation. Thus signifying weakening is ongoing. The low will continue to near The Channel islands, Southern UK and Northern France through tonight. By tomorrow afternoon the system will be weakening rapidly before it ultimately makes landfall in during the evening. The system will also move back over water briefly before making a landfall in Denmark or on the Danish and German border. It should be noted that the system may very well be a remnant low by this time frame. During tomorrow Scotland will see heavy rainfall continue from the over night hours of Thursday. Flooding will continue to be a concern along with gusty winds along with the east of coast of the UK widely. Before storm Boelo moves in. INT ... 80 KTS ... 90 MPH
