Enough is enough with this garbage rhetoric based on HATE, fear, politics.. anything but actual science. Trans women are women, period. You don’t need to be transgender to stand with trans women and girls who are just trying to live their lives. They’re not hurting you by existing, playing sports, or using the bathroom. Have some empathy and respect for your fellow human beings. If you actually care about the issues of female public safety, local politics, and youth sports I suggest you read some peer reviewed research to learn actual facts, be prepared to actually listen to what women need, then roll up your sleeves and get involved. There are so many ways the safety of girls and women desperately need to be improved upon in our society. Targeting, bullying and harming transgender people will NEVER achieve those goals. It will only do irreparable damage to an extremely vulnerable population. Please stop spreading hate and learn what it means to LOVE. Gender is a social construct and hate is learned- these things are not representative of the human spirit but tools wielded by those in power to shape our thoughts, beliefs and actions. Look within yourself, look up to your god, your teacher, your spiritual guides. Heck, look into the eyes of any child and you’ll see its love, acceptance and tolerance that are needed. Not more hate. Not more name calling. If anything should be banned from sports, bathrooms, schools, public life - it’s the spread of hateful misinformation with no factual basis. Please stop letting business men and politicians betray your valid emotions and concerns to turn you against others’ right to freedom. They are using you to create an environment of fear and anger toward those who most deserve our support. No one is choosing to be trans. It’s unbelievably dangerous. I support all women- cis, trans, nonbinary and absolutely anything else you call yourself. Transgender POC in particular, who have absolutely bore the brunt of the never-ending violence of our society and paved the way for queer rights to even exist. I’m so sorry we’re failing you. We need love now more than ever, to counteract this vitriol spewing from our nation’s capital. I stand with you and I love you. The time is now for action. #FDT #BLM #TLM 🌈🤎🏳️‍⚧️
