The old model of reality is no longer working. We cannot solve the AI crisis through competition, domination, and distrust—the same forces that created it. America cannot solve this alone. China cannot solve this alone. We are going to need enough global trust for the world’s greatest powers to step back from the race together. That requires more than regulation. It requires spiritual enlightenment. We are running out of time. Humanity must outgrow the ego, insecurity, fear, and obsession with superiority that keep telling nations they must build the most powerful AI before somebody else does. As long as every country believes it must win, nobody can safely stop. The greatest threat is not simply artificial intelligence. It is artificial intelligence controlled by human beings who have not mastered their own fear, greed, and need for power. Our technology has evolved faster than our consciousness. Now our consciousness has to catch up. We need leaders capable of trust without naïveté, cooperation without weakness, and power without ego. This is no longer merely a technological challenge. It is humanity’s spiritual emergency.
