Chiron is acting as a reality check on on relationships. With Venus in Libra, we tend to idealise the significant other. We can spend our whole lives allowing them to carry our own potential to become a whole human being. This is fairly normal and, up to a point, probably necessary. Humans tend to have priorities and interests that are other than becoming whole. The inner path is in fact a bit scary for us. If you are fortunate, you will feel the effects of Chiron, who is the bridge to the outer planets, pointing out the inherent limitations of this human normality. Maybe you fear she will leave, and then where is your experience of the feminine, the goddess? Or vice-versa. Libra is a sign of balance, initially with the world, but eventually the inner balance needs to be found. The siren call of the god or the goddess, Mars or Venus, that is so compelling, for which we will travel half way round the world for just one encounter, lay all the time within. This is a long and difficult path, the great adventure of the 2nd half of life. You may, like Odysseus, need to strap yourself to the mast. Your dreams will guide you.
