Yesterday, I asked a yes-or-no question about if the Musk/Trump election interference and rigging of the midterms leave the Republicans still in charge of Congress; would you join a general strike? Over 400+ Americans said YES. One person said it should have been started 3 months ago. He was unaware that it has been gathering steam since last year and now has 454,607 members among 27 organizations and groups. Another asked why there were so few. I think the main problem is that most people think a general strike means you have to stay at home, not work, and therefore the money you need to support your family is nonexistent. Nobody wants that. There are other ways that you can support a general strike. In order for a strike to be successful, you need to have a structure in place for mutual aid. That is one of the reasons why it takes so long to build a general strike. The other problem is unawareness of the general strike that is building right now. You can go to their website: https://generalstrikeus.com/. It will give you general information, but if you want more details, you would be better off going to the Discord server. There, it is possible to find out where your state chapter is in this strike so that you can work locally with people. The main one is the national website, but in the Discord server, you will find chapters in every different state to work with. Spreading the word to friends and family through social media or conversations, or gathering a group and telling them about the general strike, is the only way it will grow. It's up to all of us to make this happen. If you 400+ talked to 2 people a week about the strike, and asked those 2 to do the same every week rather than passing the message just once, the active spreading group triples each week, hitting the target in 10 weeks. I've been writing about this for several months, and I get hundreds of likes or loves or cares, but the word is not being spread. If it were on everyone's page every day, day after day, I'm sure there would be more recognition of it, and this group, this organization, this movement would grow much faster. The power we have as patriotic Americans can only be felt if we use it. In a little less than two years, the Heritage Foundation and their puppet, Donald Trump, have almost completely destroyed the America that you and I have grown up in. How much longer are we going to put up with this? Today I just read that now he's trying to lower the sanctions on Russia and actually buy Russian oil. Do you know how devastating that will be for Ukraine and those poor Ukrainian people who are actually protecting all of Europe, not just Ukraine?
