My mind is fixed in the present moment, so there's no suffering. I'm back to being a child: fully engrossed in whatever is happening at the moment, open, vulnerable, and with a tender heart. Anxiety is gone, panic attacks are gone, social anxiety is gone, fear is gone, suffering is gone, all is well. I used to have such bad panic attacks I felt like I was suffocating. I had so much stress that I'd go to the hospital thinking I was having a heart attack. I remember looking in the mirror at age 35 and all my hair turned grey. Stress from living with an abusive parent was literally killing me. All that is over. God has taken it away and built my faith so much that I fear nothing at all. After the direct perception of God, everything else falls into place. No more striving or desiring anything outside of yourself. You were always the treasure you were seeking "out there" in the world. All it takes is an openness to the present moment and what it has to reveal. Awakening is blissful. Seeking ends and you're left with reality as it truly is. All the walls you built around your heart to protect it, crumble. You see that you're safe no matter what happens. God is always with you. You aren't the body/ mind, you are consciousness. Once you accept this and seek God sincerely, you can't go wrong. Even if you're not on the right path, He'll put you on it at the right time. Trust in Him. Go within and you'll find the treasure. You might have to dig a bit, but it's there. I can only point you to what's always been there, ready to be realized. If you have an issue with addiction, anxiety, fear guilt, shame, and regret like I did, seek God with abandon and urgency. Self-realization will cure any ailment you have and suffering will end completely. Be a fool for God and don't conform to the world. Surely you'll end up miserable if you do.
