Why the Christian Nationalist attack does not land on Terf Island. In the myriad dogfights with online TRAs, UK gender critical folk are often bemused by their repeated accusations of our collusion with "Christian Nationalists". It's understandable that this has some cachet in the US, with it's large Christian fundamentalist movement, which has some particularly unsavoury characters in the White House. But Britain is one of the most atheist countries on Earth. To us, Christians are some smiley, quite nice people, like Quakers and Unitarians, who are probably a bit bonkers but essentially harmless. Nationalists are of course the SNP and Plaid Cymru, no idea why they're such a problem in the States. They sometime push the idea further and claim that UK gender critical organisations are funded and/ or influenced by these American bogey men. And of course the quality of their evidence is as sound as their peer-reviewed proof of lady brains. But of course all this is reason, and that's never stopped a TRA. Bring it on, Sammy!
