05T has changed little in strength. 05T formed late yesterday, and through this morning into the early afternoon the low has changed little in strength. However, this will change come Tuesday into Wednesday. Where the low will merge another low pressure and rapidly intensify as a result of the merging. Again, model guidance continues to keep this system West of Rep of Ireland and Northern Ireland. Once the system begins to occlude or completes it's occlusion the fronts will drift over Rep of Ireland and the UK bringing gusty conditions and heavy rainfall. Of which may result in flooding however there is still some uncertainty on how much rain may fall during this period. But rainfall totals are still likely to be confined to higher terrain, however higher rain totals in lower lying areas cannot be ruled out. Specifically, across western Areas of the UK and Rep of Ireland. The centre of 05T will eventually drift northward through Wednesday into Thursday towards Iceland weakening all the while. However, the system may still have a punch about it by that time. Uncertainty at this time for Iceland impacts is wither the low landfalls on the southeast side or southwest side of Iceland.
