Dave is on the way. The system has changed little over the past 24hrs. But this will quickly change through the remainder of today and into tomorrow. The system will rapidly organise and intensify as it approaches Rep of Ireland and UK. The system's gusts widely are still roughly expected to be in the 50-60 mph range. However, in more exposed areas across north-western Scotland may range from 80-95 mph. Further South. Gusts will possibly reach in more exposed locations 65-75 mph. But widely 50-60 mph. However, once the system has crossed over to the East coast of Scotland significant gusts will occur here, strongest gusts ranging from 90-105 mph in more exposed areas is possible. However, the strongest gusts may remain offshore. Widely gusts on the East coast will range primarily from 60-50 mph. However, on top of the wind threat. Flooding on both coastal and inland flooding from rainfall and river flooding in wider areas. Along with blizzard conditions for higher grounds of Scotland. Is expected with Dave, the storm will also pose a risk to life and property due to these conditions. Structural damage and fallen trees will also be likely. This is also the same for southern Scotland, Northern, North-western England and Northern portions of Wales. As winds in the Irish sea will pose the risk to be amplified and have a gust range of 50-65 mph. Damaging gusts will also occur across portions of Western Rep of Ireland as the southwest portion of Dave's core passes to the west. However, due to the likelihood of Dave's core being slightly elongated, this is where the system may have issues organising any further before landfall over Northwest Scotland on Saturday night. The system will quickly clear the UK and Rep of Ireland on Sunday morning. The system will possibly intensify further as it moves nearer to Western Norway. Where damaging gusts and blizzard conditions are possible. As Dave makes landfall over southern portions of Norway on Sunday afternoon (Zulu time/UTC). The system itself will rapidly weaken once over Norway as the higher terrain will rapidly weaken the system. The system may reach Finland before full dissipation. But there is a change that another low that may form over northern Norway absorbs Dave. Preparations should be on going in the official warned areas from Met Office and Met Éireann for official information. INT ... 40 KTS ... 45 MPH
