Especially megalomanic weirdos who proclaim themselves prophets. Her male companion has hit a new low in self-esteem. Imagine being so devoid of charm and merit upon self-examination that whenever another person speaks to the one whom you had sex with recently, you are threatened in a profound, terrifying manner. Emotional turmoil ushering continuous stress, stemming from the fact that people who engaged in conversation with an individual you have briefly been acquainted with are (gasp!) continuing their previous behavior. No one owns or has authority over another. Not in a free society. This includes the parent/child relationship. A child needs to be prepared by those that have come before them to become an adult, whole being themselves. How to communicate in some manner and judge the information they receive to determine its validity. Until they are demonstrably able to do this, a caregiver or givers hopefully make a number of decisions for them that would be impossible or difficult, in order to safeguard their journey and anticipate the arrival of the next stage. This does not mean that the young and inexperienced are property or proxies. Incarceration is meant to be a separation from others due to behavior unacceptable. If it is feasible, rehabilitation to correct the offense, as well as productive work towards restitution needs to be implemented. Otherwise, even more harm to the community results. Social contracts between any number of participants are only in existence if publicly filed and registered as such. Sexual intercourse or cohabitation is just that, at face value. At-will, unless mutually agreed upon and publicly registered policies are desired by all those concerned. Even then, in practice this is at-will. If adjudication of dissenting parties is necessary, it is available. There is no reason these contracts cannot be for specified amounts of time, with or without option to renew. If you are not an adult - a being that realizes the health of others effects their own and is able to rationally negotiate with frequent and oftentimes lengthy communication - then interpersonal relationships are not possible. The result will always be harmful, even to others not personally involved. Recognition of such damaging unions does not exist when, for example, the guaranteed pursuit of life, liberty, and freedom does. Anyone infringing upon these human rights is a criminal that needs to be isolated, corrected, and work towards restitution while their costly rehabilitation is enacted. Consensual crimes do not exist. Impinging upon the consent of another is the definition of criminality. Nothing is more valuable than time alive. Wasting the time of another comes with an inescapable price.
