This is America now, handcuffing 𝐀𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐀𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐬𝐨𝐢𝐥, making it clear 🇺🇸 reporters 𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐟𝐢𝐥𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐩𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐞, 𝐈𝐂𝐄, 𝐨𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐞𝐥𝐬𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐯𝐨𝐥𝐯𝐞𝐝 in the protest in LA. 𝘈𝘮𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘤𝘢. Not Afghanistan, not Beirut and not Russia… 𝐀𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐚. Free speech? No, and especially not peaceful protest. It’s the cops and guards inciting the violence and rioting and the hose meant to hold the constitution are in fact now cruel and dangerous. Heady with power. We’re watching the noose tightening around you and it’s surreal. Anyone who is paying attention can see the signs of dictatorship. Those of you who think it’ll never be your turn, learn from history. The writing is on the wall; LA is just the testing ground. Listen to wiser folks than me and please don’t wait until what’s coming for your safety, peace and freedom actually arrives nationwide.
