Had to make a longer post for this one so bear with me lmao. SO I got off the phone with HR this morning and basically what happened was, because I changed the incorrect direct deposit info from Aug 1st, it allegedly reset the timer on that system. So now I have to wait. While on the phone she said my info was good to go and there should be no problems -- except while we talked I noticed my account # was missing two preceeding zeroes. I asked her about it and she said she didnt think it would matter, and if I change the info as the system will allow this coming saturday, it will again reset the timer. So now there are basically a few outcomes: 1) direct deposit hits in 2 more weeks without a hitch. Obviously this is the best outcome. 2) the account number is wrong, it errors out, i get sent a check in the mail again, which will arrive 6 days later, aka halfway into the next check. then i have to fix the account number that following saturday (because the system locks you out until then) which again: will reset the timer on the system and means i wont get that check on direct deposit for 2-4 more weeks. So basically two zeroes are what stands between me finally getting to unclench my asshole every weekend or having to have a mental breakdown and slide all my payments over by a week. In the meantime -because life is a never ending nightmare and wrought with suffering - I have bills to pay that will pillage my account and I have to be negative for the next week. Again. Even though I'm working fulltime, I'm still in the butthole. THIS SHIT SHOULD NOT BE HAPPENING. I have never ever had such a bullshit time with payroll anywhere else I have worked, omfgggg. So anyway this is fabulous uh. So people who are expecting a refund can basically leap a week forward from their originally scheduled date and that's when you should actually expect to see it lmao. Also I think I seriously fucked my wrist up just making one sketch for like...three minutes the other day. Should not have done that in any degree but I felt the pressure to deliver and folded like a dumbass and set back my recovery. I fucking hate it here but what can you dooooo lmao
