In America, July 4th, 2026 We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed. That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.  The history of the present King of The United States, Donald J. Trump, is a history of repeated injuries and usurpations, all having in direct object the establishment of an absolute Tyranny over these States and its people. To prove this, let Facts be submitted to a candid world. He has withheld compliance from congressional spending mandates, utilizing administrative freezes and rescission requests to halt billions of dollars in funding previously authorized by the legislature for federal agencies and public programs. He has bypassed the legislative process through extensive use of executive decrees, issuing numerous proclamations and orders to unilaterally implement sweeping changes to national trade, immigration, and environmental regulations without statutory adjustments by Congress. He has sought to reclassify the non-partisan civil service, executing policy directives to convert tens of thousands of career federal positions into political appointments, thereby shifting civil service protections to at-will employment status. He has altered established administrative and judicial due process, invoking broad statutory emergency powers to conduct rapid detentions and expulsions of foreign nationals, occasionally proceeding despite active federal court injunctions. He has exercised unilateral authority to impose economic duties, utilizing national security exemptions in trade law to levy widespread tariffs on imported goods, effectively establishing consumer tax burdens without explicit legislative consent. He has contested the traditional independence of federal law enforcement, publicly challenging the investigations of independent prosecutors, demanding personal loyalty from department leadership, and directing the Department of Justice toward specific political priorities. He has redirected public funds against the explicit veto of the legislature, declaring national emergencies to divert billions of dollars from military construction budgets to fund domestic projects after Congress specifically refused to appropriate those funds.  He has undermined the system of legislative oversight, instructing current and former executive branch officials to defy congressional subpoenas, withhold documentation, and refuse testimony during official inquiries. He has altered the scientific and regulatory output of federal agencies, intervening in the publication of public health data, environmental impact reports, and weather forecasts to align official agency findings with executive policy positions. He has restricted the immigration and naturalization laws established by Congress, implementing sweeping entry bans on citizens of specific nations and systematically reducing the statutory caps on refugee admissions to historic lows. In every stage of these Oppressions We have Petitioned for Redress in the most humble terms: Our repeated Petitions have been answered only by repeated injury. A Prince, whose character is thus marked by every act which may define a Tyrant, is unfit to be the ruler of a free people.
