Gravel poured in a valley of flowers. Still, one flower blooms in the center, consumed and surrounded by rock. It barely survives, starved of its nutrients and feeding on only rock. It's forced to watch as thousands of flowers flourish outside the valley. No one cares for the rock flower, only for themselves. Then, many years into the rock flower's life, someone grinds the gravel, turning it into rich soil. Instead of being happy for the flower, the other flowers are horrified, saying that the gravel didn’t deserve to die. The gravel had a place among the flowers. The gravel had been torturing the rock flower, removing its nutrients, not allowing it to grow, keeping it small. Now it's finally gone. The rock flower can grow; it can live comfortably. It can finally achieve the same as the flowers around it. The other flowers don’t want it to grow; they mourn the gravel and blame the flower for flourishing.
