Libra reminds us what we are fundamentally here to do: to balance the callings of the various gods and godesses in the heavens. We are not here to transcend or to evolve, but to live around that centre from which we can be in balance. It is a deep and demanding task, that the human ego, necessary as it is, cannot manage on its own. But Neptune, with his vast ocean of consciousness, is here to help and show us. The modern atheistic consciousness, with its myth of the lone individual carving out his space in an indifferent or even hostile universe, has no conception of the help that is all around. So listen to what it is that you HAVE to do, for that is the path to balance. And let Neptune be the magical hands that take over, that love you tenderly, that know your destiny, the pattern that was woven by the Fates at your moment of birth. And you will accomplish things with ease, new things that you could never have done with your Will alone. During the day, the Moon in Libra moves on and starts opposing Saturn. This brings in age. What do us oldies do about the relationship thing? It is probably not so compelling any more. And if it is, you probably need a few years on your own, for it is time to find the balance within, rather than through the 'significant other'. Saturn has a bad reputation in romance, but that is because he wants us to become adults. Of course, there still has to be something about the Other that thrills you, that 'does it' for you. That is Neptune's offering. So let a Muse come your way, do not seek them out, someone who is connected to something that compels you but which will always be a mystery. And, here's the crucial thing that Saturn brings to Neptune's siren call: the Other no longer supplies that numinous thing for you, such that you are heartbroken when they leave, but acts as a constant inspirational reminder of your inner quest, your lifelong pursuit of your own soul. On a bad day, when you want to possess the Other, they will resist you, and that serves your best interests.
