I have heard talking heads on MSNBC and elsewhere use the term “American culture.” Let’s get this straight, folks. As much as white Amerikaner nationalists would like there to be, there is no such thing as “American culture”. U.S. society is multicultured. Even pre-Columbian Indigenous American cultures were and are diverse. For example, one of the two indigenous nations I come from is spiritually polytheistic, while the other is nontheistic animist. (I identify with the latter nonreligiously).
