Daze of Protests=2 We’ve now seen two major days of national protest. Thousands of people took to the streets with conviction and heart, sending a powerful message. And then, just as quickly, they returned home. The question that lingers in the air like smoke is: has anything truly changed? Has it shaken the core of what's happening to our democracy? Perhaps it had some influence. The Supreme Court, in a 7-2 decision, has temporarily halted the abduction and deportation of both undocumented and documented immigrants to the torture prisons in El Salvador. These facilities, let’s be honest, mirror the horrors of the past, reminiscent of when the Nazis transported human beings to their concentration camps they put in Poland. That comparison may seem harsh, but history demands we recognize the echoes of its worst chapters. We now have a President who seems comfortable aligning with such cruelty, who views authoritarian tactics as a blueprint rather than a warning. Let me be clear: I believe in protest. I believe in the power of people standing together in defiance of injustice. But protest alone is not enough. A sign in the air and a chant in the street cannot be where our resistance ends, and I know it doesn’t, but we need more. Are you, like me, tired of hearing polite speeches echo through the halls of Congress while the walls of democracy crumble around us? It’s exhausting. Only a handful of voices, Corey Booker, Al Green, AOC, Bernie Sanders, and Liz Cheney, seem to be speaking with the urgency this moment demands. Where are the others? Where are the Democrats we elected, the ones who promised to uphold the Constitution and defend our rights? Why are they so quiet, so passive, so absent? We don’t need more silence. We need action. Bold, coordinated, strategic action. Isn’t it time we move beyond symbolic gestures and start planning real disruption? Regional strikes, starting in cities that serve as economic and cultural hubs—Chicago, New York, Los Angeles, Miami, Washington D.C. These aren’t just places on a map; they are arteries of the nation’s heartbeat. If we apply pressure there, we can make the whole system feel it. This isn’t about chaos for chaos’s sake. It’s about organized pressure with clear demands. It’s about disrupting business-as-usual until we’re heard. One example? Let’s confront the outsized influence of Elon Musk, whose actions are shaping the digital and physical infrastructure of our country without accountability. Let’s demand that he be removed from power. These strikes wouldn’t have to be national to make an impact. Focused disruptions involving truckers, dock workers, and longshoremen could grind critical industries to a halt. Labor unions could play a crucial role in mobilizing, guiding, and protecting those involved. I know I don’t have a massive following. Maybe only a few of you are reading this. But if you're still with me, if you’re feeling that fire in your chest that says enough is enough, then I want to hear from you. Leave a comment. Let’s talk. Let’s plan. Let’s act. Trump’s authoritarian agenda is advancing. We can’t afford to keep moving in slow motion.
