There are too many variables. In life. In sales. In business. In social skills. In relationships. You cannot consciously track them all. Was my tone right? My timing? Did I say the right thing? Is this person interested? Did I make the right decision? You’ll drive yourself insane trying to calculate everything. That’s why you need what almost looks like a stupid, delusional level of confidence. An absurd level of joy. Overflowing energy. Not because confidence guarantees every outcome. Because when your internal state is that strong, you don’t need to perfectly calculate every outcome. Something goes wrong? Adjust. Someone rejects you? Keep moving. A sales call goes sideways? Next call. A social interaction gets awkward? Laugh and continue. You don’t conquer complexity by tracking every variable. You become so resilient, joyful, confident, and adaptable that you can handle whatever variable shows up. Stop trying to calculate life perfectly. Build a mind that can handle an imperfect life. Then go live.
