Humor isn’t always about trying to be funny. I’m not walking around searching for jokes. I’m not calculating punchlines or forcing laughter. I simply share my perspective. My perspective is joyful because my energy is joyful. I see the absurdity in situations. I notice contradictions. I say the truth people are already thinking but are usually too restrained to express. That makes people laugh. The laughter isn’t coming from a rehearsed joke. It comes from recognition. Someone hears the truth expressed from a completely different energy, and suddenly the heaviness disappears. They see the situation from a lighter perspective. That is humor. Humor is truth released from tension. It’s reality seen through a joyful mind. That’s why someone with incredible energy can make people laugh without telling a single traditional joke. Their perspective is alive. Their delivery is free. Their joy gives everyone else permission to stop taking the moment so seriously. You don’t become funny by desperately trying to make people laugh. You become fully present. You become playful. You tell the truth from a joyful perspective. Then the laughter happens naturally. Humor isn’t just about jokes. Humor is energy expressed through perspective.
